Awards

Excellent entries can receive the following titles.

Honorable Mention

The top 50% of entries in each track for each grade level will receive an honorable mention certificate. This certificate will be emailed to them on the email that they registered with.

Quarterfinalists

The top 10% of entries in each track for each grade level will receive a quarterfinalist certificate. This certificate will be emailed to them on the email that they registered with. Quarterfinalists will also receive recognition on this website, as well as on our journal website, sbyireview.com.

Semifinalists

Semifinalists will be selected for each grade level: one for each of the four tracks. Their work will be published on the Stony Brook Young Investigators Review website, sbyireview.com.

Finalists

Among the semi-finalists, the top awardee of each track will be chosen to be published in our Fall 2022 Edition of the Stony Brook Young Investigators Review. You can find our most recent print submissions at sbyireview.com/previous-journals/
